According to David Virtues online publication Dr. Peter Toon has died. Peter was an capable church historian. He wrote insightfully on hypercalvinism. He proved to be a valiant defender of the truth as a leader of the Prayerbook society. He has been blamed for the increase in highchurchmanship in the Reformed Episcopal Church.

Regardless I enjoyed several of his writings over the years and was surprised to see this today. May God grant his family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
