Puritan Board Freshman
Hello everyone, I've been on the forum for some time.
I'm a bi-vocational pastor in the Santa Cruz, CA area. I pastor a pretty small congregation.
I've been trying to explore the possibility of pursuing formal theological training. The disadvantage is $. Our church is primarily Spanish-speaking and the church budget mainly goes to pay the church's monthly expenses. There are good months where the congregation is able to provide me a very modest stipend (~$300).
...nevertheless, I've been excited about what the Lord has been doing in their lives. They are so appreciative of the teaching and ministry.
I had heard about TNARS but just noticed they no longer do a BA in Theology. As far as higher education I have two AA from a local community college (soc and psych). Unfortunately, life circumstances did not permit me to finish a BA.
...any thoughts?
