Boyhood Friend Made Good

I grew up on a farm near a little town named New Douglas in Southern Illinois. It was mostly a German farming community but it has changed much since those days. We had a population of maybe 500, maybe. From that little town came a number of individuals from my generation that made their mark. I share one with you:

I should have entitled it Boyhood "FriendS Made Good". Here's another. Bob Mueller and I went from 7th grade about our second year of college together. We commuted to SIU-E in his GTO...it was very cool. These days is the senior anchorperson on the ABC affilate in Nashville, TN.
