Do we delete theads if they don't make us feel good?

The administration thought it was in the best interest to put that to rest. I pray God enlightens us all.

After discussions among the admins and mods, I moved the thread and so will answer directly.

Yes, we delete threads at will, and we edit posts at will, and we try as hard as we can to maintain an atmosphere of edification and fellowship. That is why we are referred to as administrators and moderators - and when every member signed up they clicked a statement that they agreed to respect the rules of this board and those who oversee it.

The thread in question got way out of hand. It will be edited and put back into the general forum.

And when a moderator or admin warns members about posts/content/language/ etc, those warnings are to be heeded.

Am I clear?

Posting on the Puritan Board is a privilege, not a right. Can we have serious discussion? Sure. But with the right attitude and Christian maturity.
