I wish I was simply running from it. I was in my backyard and never saw it until it bit me and then heard the rattle.

I could handle a twisted ankle, but this is painful. Luckily he only got me with one fang (that is the bruised mark towards the outside in the pic) so I did not get a full dose of venom. The ankle is basically useless right now. It is super weak and painful.

Also glad to know that I am increasing your vocabulary.
