The young Christian and Meat Loaf

When I was in my late teens (and also a young Christian) I used to love the album Bat out of Hell by Meat Loaf. Over a 2 year period I felt convicted and ended up destroying the album. What has astonished me since is the number of Christians I have met who had this same album and likewise binned it.

I would be interested to know how many on the PB had Bat out of Hell and whether they kept it, sold it or binned it.

Before conversion i had hundreds of albums, 70s 80s 90s hard rock. They were so much a part of my thinking and daily routine because i identified very closely to the rebel sex booze and drugs worldview. As you can imagine, shortly after conversion God gave me a healthy loathing of them and everything they represented, and now sit boxed up in the garage waiting for the yearly yard sale.
