I am looking to see if there are any works that specifically focus on the law in the apostle Paul's writings. I noticed there was a thread from 2014 where Patrick Fairbairn's appendix was the closest recommendation to what is being sought out. I welcome any additional resources specific to the topic.

There's Paul and the Law by Brian Rosner. His conclusions are not always confessional but it is a thorough study of this exact question.

Thank you. Yes, I happened to run across Guy Waters's review of this work: https://www.reformation21.org/articles/Paul-and-the-law.php

Frank Thielman's Paul and the Law: A contextual approach. He is ordained PCA last I heard.

The Finger of God by Philip Ross should be helpful as well.

T David Gordon's Promise, Law and Faith really made me think too.

Timo Laato's The New Quest for Paul has an thorough treatment of 2. Corinthians 3 that he applies elsewhere to Paul's letters. He is Lutheran.
