Ryken on the Ten Commandments

Is anyone familiar with Phil Ryken's "Written in Stone"? If so, I would be interested to hear what you think of it.

I heard the sermons from which this volume was made. It is a straightforwardly Westminster Larger Catechism treatment of the TC, and takes confessional viewpoints on 2nd and 4th commandments, if memory serves me correctly.

Thank you! Confessional adherence aside, did you find the sermons helpful/informative?

I did find them useful. I should also note that they are the same sermons as are found in his Exodus commentary. So if you have the Exodus commentary (which I highly recommend), then you already have his complete take on the TC.

So "Written in Stone" doesn't really have anything that's not already in the Exodus commentary then.
