I just was wondering what you all have been listening to recently:think:

My Choices:
1) "The Doctines of Grace" John MacArthur
2) Lots of John Piper (Romans)
3) Pastor Mark Driscoll-1-2 Peter (Temptations to Hypocrisy)
4) Donald Whitney(Spiritual Disciplines...)
5) Meliah Rage (new album-my friend is back as lead singer and Born-again)
6) Stryper-(Soldiers under command)
Please share with us as it's interesting to learn more about the people you meet here

There's lots more, but I'll spare you! :)

Oh, I thought you were talking about music! Sorry! :)

As far as sermon's I've been listening to Sinclair Ferguson's series on Revelation and Dr. Calhoun on Calvin's systematic theology. Good stuff!

Bruce Waltke`s course lectures -Understanding the Old Testament
Anything Celtic Woman
Sinclair Ferguson`s Sermons on Ephesians
David Calhouns course lectures - Calvin`s Institutes
Richard Pratts lectures on the Pentatuch (rts on itunes)

Thats about it lately. Trying to do more reading actually than listening.

I've been listening to Sinclair Ferguson's series on the book of James, and also a set of sermons on the book of Job by Joseph Pipa Jr.! Both have been excellent to listen to....incredibly convicting and encouraging as well! :D

Sermons: On my MP3 player, I've been listening to Mark Dever's overview sermons on the Books of the Bible. I'm up to II Chronicles.
I've been listening to Beeke's Teaching Children How to Listen lectures and his Puritan Parenting, etc. (He has so many family sermons...check them out on SermonAudio!)

Music: In my CD players (car and kitchen) are Songs for Saplings CD's, which I recommend for a gift for any little one. After listening for two days to the first volume of Children's Catechism songs, my two year old son about doubled his catechism knowledge!
The Bible verse one is great, too!

Having moved back to MD from First Pres in SC where Sinclair Ferguson preaches I have been listening to his sermons. What a man of God. After he first came there I was talking to my friend's husband about the baptism that occurred. We both have witnessed many baptisms in our life but we talked about how he teaches as he does it. It was so natural, so simple and yet so profound.

James White/Dividing Line
Al Mohler
White Horse Inn
Driscoll on 1 Peter
Art Azurdia on the Responsibilities of Church Membership
Lee Irons on Covenant Nurture
Then musically I just got Kate Nash's cd and have really been enjoying it.
