Agreed. I was going to post this later. Neil is a Christian gentleman online if there ever was one.
This is true. I could learn from this in how I go about my day in general.Neil is a Christian gentleman online if there ever was one.
Haven’t even tried. How is it?Has anyone made it all the way through "Presbycast Theater 3000"?
He was talking about the universality draw from the simplicity of it. If the Bible, including the psalms, are in a given language, then you have the materials for worship. For those who listened to the Shenvi interview, what was Wresby talking about when first commented during the podcast? It had something to do with Reformed worship being universal, but it seemed out of place and a little incoherent.

@ZackF. That was my take and how I view Reformed worship. It is truly catholic. That is a fairly common refrain from them. And it is as Zach said. I haven't finished listening and am right at as he's saying that, so not sure if he draws this connection, but I think in the past they have pushed back that the historical reformed liturgy/worship is white European centered. So it would connect in that way, that those pushing intersectionality/critical theory/woke/etc, may claim the reformed church's liturgy comes from the oppressor. (That is at least my guess on how he connected it or something to that effect, if only in his head.)
So this guy is new to me, what is his story? His background? I hope to get around to listening
He gives it all in this episode. It’s a brief but good story. So this guy is new to me, what is his story? His background? I hope to get around to listening

So is that podcast touching on current events impacting the church? That is what I appreciate about presbycast and Dividing Line, that they help keep my ear on things I may otherwise be oblivious to.Just Thinking’ is a good recommend on these issues

More than half way through - this is incredible brother, even the host, but most notably the guest. He nails it!

What is biblical oppression? The lgbt may be oppressed from their darkened perspective but what does the Bible have to say about the identity they want affirmed? Critical theory is an unbiblical train wreck and Neil Shenvi is excellent at respectfully meeting the critical theorist where they are and completely dismantling their attempt to biblically validate their position
