I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but I thought it was interesting:

'According to God's standards, if you died to today where would you go?'

'Hell'

'Does that concern you?'

'No.'

I doesn't matter how often I hear an exchange like this. It breaks my heart.

Well, I dunno ... I've said things like that before just to get someone off my case, if I think it's the fastest way to end the conversation ... If you say 'heaven', then it opens a whole new direction for them. "How do you KNOW you are going to heaven? Are you sure? Did you pray the prayer? Did you pray it right? Did you understand what you meant when you prayed it?" I don't figure I'm obligated to explain my faith to every nutcase that runs me down in the street.

I'm thankful He pulled the blinders off of me. I agree, it is sad to see people drowning in their delusions.

Thanks for posting that. What a grace God has extended to us to open our eyes and give us Jesus Christ! As I was listening to that I couldn't help but realize without Christ I am in the same boat they are.

I have also given the same response when a street preacher is harassing me. I wouldn't necessarily take what they're saying at face value. Sometimes, you just want to get to work/class/etc on time without having someone you don't know preach to you.

I'm guessing that's Ray Comfort as the interviewer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the guy in the sleeveless t-shirt (about 3:30 in) look like Christopher Hitchins?

About 10 sec later there's Yoda juggling or something in the background.

When this happens to me I tell them right off I am born again. I am thankful for that person caring enough to do something I do not do.

Why not? I will discuss my faith with them. If they are a cult person it will come out right after you tell them you are saved by grace through faith alone. At that point you can end the conversation or rejoice with that person.

My unfortunate experience has been that even if I tell them that I am saved, they still want to have a probing conversation with me to try to ascertain if I am "truly" saved. And when I'm running 15 minutes late to class, I'm not willing to have that conversation.

I have generally found that I am not saved by their definition. I've heard enough hell threats to last me my whole life, and I tend to get panic attacks when people become aggressively preachy and start talking about hell. And then it turns into this whole big thing because I freak out about not really being saved and start wondering whether I should go back to the UPCI. And then my husband has to calm me down, and get the pastor to explain about the election thing again and salvation by grace, and so on. It's better if I just don't talk to them. It throws off everybody's whole itinerary.

It just seem dishonest to title the video the way they did in order to get people to watch. It feels like exploitation.

Yes, Kathleen, I think you have a point! It's unfortunate that you've come across that! I've done street evangelism and outreaches before....and the first thing we ask people is if they can spare some time. And if they don't have time we just give them some literature to take with them, but I've never been pushy or even preachy at that matter! :)

Since the wages of sin is death, in a cause and effect way, it is to the point.

Yeah, I get what your saying. You are right about the cause of death. But you cannot deny that Comfort is being deliberately misleading in order to get traffic to his video. I am just not sure that is the right thing to do.

A friend forwarded me a Youtube link with pictures, dialogue, new reports, that Michael Jackson had become Muslim like his brother. Anyone else heard that?

No, but if he died out of Christ the precise label is irrelevant.

Yes. It appears the Michael had converted from the Jehovah's Witnesses to Islam. Not much of trade really.
