I have read through volumes 1 and 2 of Muller's PRRD several times. Along with foonotes there, I have also seen the following article repeatedly referenced in journals, rebutting Thomas Torrance:

“The Barth Legacy: New Athanasius Or Origen Redivivus? A Response to T F. Torrance.” The Thomist 54 (1990): 673-704.

I have gone to my local university library and have been unable to find it on their journals. I work in education and have limited access to EBSCO, yet I can't find it there, either (though I did find some other good Muller articles). I don't really know where to go next. I suspect RTS might have it on their system, but I really don't have the time to drive to Mississippi.

You might check and see if a library near you has access rights. See Thomist Site
I think it may have to be a seminary library for finding a hard copy/access. SMU's Bridwell and DTS have it.
Individual web access is $20; a bit steep for one article.
