He was born August 9,1788.He died in 1850.He was quite a servant of the Lord.As an American Baptist missionary he translated the whole Bible into the Burnese tongue.He spent 2 years in prison for his faith.
Mr.Judson was a Congregationalist.He set sail for India in 1812 with his brand new wife and on the voyage became a convinced Baptist.It was not an easy thing to do.He cut off his means of support until a Baptist organization could be found to support him and his wife.
