Does every book or verse of the bible point to Christ?

I have been reading about Biblical Theology and the notion is that all of the bible points to Christ. While I do not deny this I wonder if when preaching or reading the bible we should strive to find a correlation to Christ in every book or verse without exception?

Any thoughts?

Verses are of course man-made. Christ is there in all the scriptures, but not in every verse. Certainly in every larger passage there are themes or signposts to Christ. But then, there would be. He wrote it! We don't have to 'strive' to see Christ in my humble opinion, nor get into the error of turning everything into a 'type' - He shows Himself without us having to play creative games or take liberties with the text.
