celebrating 5th November?

Does anyone celebrate the 5th November as it would have been celebrated, as a remarkable providence and a defeat of a plot to blow up parliment and return the country to the Roman Catholic faith?

I was reading the book of Esther which gave rise to Purim and can see a parallel with 5th November.

I won't be letting off any fireworks but that IS what I'll be thinking of and thanking God for - besides praying for national repentance, and that the deliverance will not have been in vain for this generation of Britons
