Interesting. From a very brief glance at the work, it seems that Pemble teaches a geocentric solar system. The Introduction to Geography was first published in 1630, a full twenty years after Galileo's observations of the phases of Venus, giving some emperical evidence to a heliocentric solar system. (I say "some" because Tycho Brahe had a method for explaining these phases which maintained an immovable Earth).

Very interesting.
