And the rain came a-tumblin' down... #11 Oregon State and #5 Washington battled through a deluge that finally ended in the fourth quarter, but certainly challenged quarterbacks and receivers in a big way (though the Huskies' cornerback Jabbar Muhammad seemed completely undaunted by the rain!) Huskies came out on top 22-20.

Elsewhere, Kansas State rallied to beat Kansas on the road, Clemson dispatched UNC, and UCLA pushed aside USC in a game nobody called correctly. Congrats to Dan being the sole contestant picking South Carolina in a scrappy contest with Kentucky, but that wasn't nearly enough to get past Edward, who was the only prognosticator to select Arizona... who utterly destroyed Utah, 42-18, in a game that had been a game of the week according to the oddsmakers, who tabbed Arizona as mere 1-point favorites.

With that correct prediction, Edward wins week 12, and grabs his second . Congratulations!

I haven't calculated that though I can - I can report the average score per week per person so as to allow for times when people have missed. That's not part of the official accounting, so I'll have to construct it - but I will.

I'm finally back to a normal workload so I was able to actually look at things this week. For those interested in my system. As the board's most vocal conspiracy theorist, I figure all major sporting events are rigged. So you have to factor in who is most likely to have an interest in the outcome. Since I went to Georgia I'll go with them in the SEC game, but I figure that the folks that control things will give Bama the win.
