I heard a sermon today that reminded me of something. It was meant to encourage people who felt as though God had forgotten them. I remember those kinds of sermons helping me as a new believer. But when I think about it, especially since I've become Reformed, I don't think I've questioned all that much whether or not God was thinking of me. It seems to me that if you really believe that God ordains whatsoever comes to pass then you will eventually realize that His plans for the universe also include His plans for your life and that nothing happens to you by accident, it's all Father-filtered.
