I’ve created a John Flavel ‘page’ on Facebook, where I will be posting quotes as I read through his Works. There already exists one with a large following, but last time I checked, it hasn’t been active in years.

Absolutely: he's level-headed, Godly, very spiritually-minded, and very easy to read. Be sure to get the new 4-volume edition from Banner of Truth.

I have but 150 pages of the 6 volumes of his works left to read. I definitely recommend buying and reading them.

That’s funny, because as I mentioned in the other thread, I have Traill and Clarkson to choose from, but I also have Newton to choose as well.

Newton > Traill/Charnock?
