- note the "hammers" in this one.

Gorgeous music, and what a sound! I can only imagine what a hammered dulcimer sounds like in stereo through headphones. How many strings does a hammered dulcimer have?

My first thought seeing the thread title was, what is a dulcimer and why is he drunk.;) I was pleasantly surprised. Nice sound.

Nice to see some Irish stuff. The music in the Irish Washerwoman video used to be the theme tune of a great TV show called "Lesser Spotted Ulster" - it is worth searching YouTube to see if there is anything on it from that program, as the scenery was great.

Rich mullins was known for using the dulcimer in his music. His music was great but the dulcimer adds alot.
