We had our first winter storm last night. Almost a foot of snow over night & the kids and I just finish shoveling out.

Here is a link to the Highway department website with Highway cams.

Highway Cameras - New Brunswick Department of Transportation

These cameras a situated on major roads so that you can check conditions before you head out.

Check out Hwy 8 Durham Bridge, very cool photo. And as of now (3:45 AST) it is still blizzard conditions on HWY 11.

BTW these cameras provide some very cool photo's after dark.

(Check out my favorite Durham bridge)

I took these a couple of nights ago.

This one's an interesection viewed from our porch.

This one is our house from across the street, and a stubborn leaf in the foreground.

We received another 4-6 inches the next day. Right now it's about 10 degrees.

Yikes, that is a lot of snow. Here in Alberta we are often buried under snow in late November, too, but not this year, for which I am thankful. I am not looking forward to it, though I know it is inevitable, eventually.

You should check the confederation bridge cam later in winter. The straight is full of ice in an other month or so.
