book on systematic theology?

Hi all, I have been searching for a book on systematic theology - one that would be a bit easier for me to understand. I have read your past posts on the syst. theology subject itself, but didn't see anything for a read that was 'easier on the brain.' Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.

What is Reformed Theology by R. C. Sproul is kind of a systematic, focused on the distinctives of Reformed theology.

Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should Know by Wayne Grudem may be the kind of intro you're looking for. If you want more, you could likely jump right into his Systematic Theology, which is fairly easy, even though it's a big book.

I would suggest Michael Horton's systematic theology. It's probably the most modern, so you don't have to deal with some of the older writing styles.

I agree with Andrew. I was given Horton's Systematic Theology by my Grandpa because of its accessibility and it has been helpful.
