Dr. Bob Gonzales

Puritan Board Junior
According to George Smeaton, "Wherever Christianity has been a living power, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit has uniformly been regarded, equally with the Atonement and Justification by faith, as the article of a standing or
falling church.”

We agree with Dr. Smeaton that the doctrine of the Holy Spirit is a vital aspect of a vibrant Reformed theology. Therefore, Reformed Baptist Seminary is offering a four-day module, Monday, January 19, through Thursday, Friday 22, 2009. The module will be hosted by Immanuel Baptist Church in Sacramento, California.

The course will include a biblical-theological examination of the progressive
unfolding of the person and work of the Holy Spirit in Scripture. The four main units of this course highlight the revelation of the Holy Spirit in His Person, the Promises of His Coming, the official Presentation of the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, and the Possession of the Spirit in the life of the disciples of Christ and the ministries of the church of Christ.

Sincerely yours,
