    Greetings PB brethren,

The 16-volume set of John Owen's collected Works may be downloaded freely here:

    Happy reading!

Just downloaded all the Owen stuff. It appears he doesn't have Volume 1 of the Hebrews commentary (Goold edition) in pdf format yet.

Hmmm...perhaps he'll repair / re-post that particular volume if you put a comment to that effect on his website. It seems like he was pretty responsive to those issues in the past... Here's hoping!

Now let's see who can finish reading the whole set before they die.

Reading is one thing...comprehending is another! Ha! Owen is rich, but often dense.

My wife, who claims to hate to read, has read 14 of the 16 non-Hebrews volumes. I'm only half way through those, but I have 80 percent of his Commentary on Hebrews. I even remember a couple of things from them... :owen:

Wow. Sounds like you've got a good woman there!

Indeed, she is. One of my favorite challenges is the out-of-the-blue question that begins like, "Why do you think in Volume __, Owen says ....?"

I usually have to say, "I have no idea, let me read it first."

Then we spend the rest of the day kicking it around.
