This question is not meant to offend anyone here who wears a toupee but I just wanted to know if anyone thinks it is wrong or a sin for a pastor to wear a toupee in Church while preaching the Gospel.
I once heard of a pastor in a church out in Texas who was so overwhelmed by conviction for wearing a hairpiece that he removed it in front of the whole church and asked for forgiveness for being dishonest all those years he had been the pastor there. If a man of God is suppose to be honest, then does that mean it is wrong for him to wear a toupee while preaching and is he lying to those in his church if he does? If not mistaken, I think someone told me once that D. James Kennedy wore a hairpiece and I admired him very much and had a lot of respect for him. The fact that he wore a rug (if in fact he did) does not take away from the fact that he was a great preacher of the gospel. Just had that on mind and wanted to know what those here thought.
Thanks.
