We are going through Mark Jones' book "Knowing Christ", and the chapter on Christ's wrath was really interesting. He talks about how many churches are comfortable with alluding to the wrath of God at times, but can hesitate to talk about the wrath of Jesus. He points out that Jesus was the angel of the Lord in the Old Testament who brought God's judgment upon His enemies and even Israel. As well He mentions that Jesus talked about hell and warned people of it so much, because He knew the terrors of it, because He created it.
