In my studies of the Westminster Standards, I think this topic is the most neglected of them all. Either we disregard it altogether, or some churches still want to adhere to the same covenant excluding all other churches as true churches.
I finished a homework assignment that is set here in its entirety on this issue. There is almost nothing on the Internet on this subject, and the few things that are out there are exceedingly biased.
I hope this tends to be a very helpful look at something crucially important in the history of the Westminster Standards in general.
