Strictly speaking these men were not Puritans but were in the Puritan tradition
1. M'Cheyne The Believers Joy
2. Spurgeon On joy I love this book.
3. Martyn Lloyd-Jones preached many sermons on joy. I did a search on his sermon page and got over 100 results

Boston has some good stuff in Vol. 2 of his works, but I was looking for something more exhaustive. It is SC Q. 36 that got me started:
The benefits which in this life do accompany or flow from justification, adoption, and sanctification, are, assurance of God's love, peace of conscience, joy in the Holy Ghost, increase of grace, and perseverance therein to the end.

Robert Leighton has a good section on joy in his commentary on 1 Peter 1:8-9. He deals with the causes of spiritual joy, how joy arises from those causes, and the excellency of that joy. Obviously the commentary touches on salvation, hope, and love as it proceeds, but joy pervades the 10.5 pages devoted to those two verses.

This also looks interesting. You can find it at EEBO TCP II.

Zachary Bogan, (1625-1659). "Meditations of the Mirth of a Christian Life. And the Vain Mirth of a Wicked Life, With the Sorrows of it."
