This might be one of those old wives tales that I am just stumbling onto now, but is it true that the Geneva Bible, in its introduction, laid out many principles for the first time that the Declaration of Independence or U.S. Constitution picked up on? A man at my church is convinced of this, but I had never heard of it before.
