I read an article (sorry I can't find it, I tried so I could link to it) about how Bruce Springsteen was planning to release a "Gospel" album but instead just included a few "Gospel" inspired songs on his newest album wrecking ball. I in no way think these are Christian songs or even Gospel songs, but I do like the songs, and considering this album was also inspired by the recession in America I find the lyrics very interesting.
