Technical Commentary on Hebrew OT

In The Renaissance New Testament, Randolph Yeager examines literally every word of the Greek New Testament. He parses every word and provides a textual commentary.

Is there a similar work on the Old Testament? I know there's probably not a work that deals with each word individually (as Yeager does), but what is a good technical commentary on the Hebrew itself? Keil and Delitzsch deal with the Hebrew as they go, but their commentary isn't primarily a textual commentary on the Hebrew itself. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

JPS (Jewish Publication Society) do something similar for their many volumes on the OT. Not every word needs to be parsed, though. After you see v'yomer a hundred times, you know it is 3rd person singular

The Baylor Handbook on the Hebrew text series has many commentaries of the sort you are looking for (or at least close!), but it is not complete. The Word Biblical Commentary also often has very detailed notes of the kind you mention. Both of these series have liberal-critical contributors and more moderate contributors, and even some conservative guys. Hermeneia also has some very detailed notes, but, of course, it is both expensive and slanted even more liberal than the other two series. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there is nothing precisely like what you are looking for in the evangelical world.

Anchor Bible is hit or miss. Some of the "discussions" are rambling and not even technical. Still, Milgrom's is probably worth getting.
