Does anyone know of a reliable PCA, OPC, etc. church (conservative, traditional, or better) near Gulf Shores? I have family that will be in the area tomorrow.

I was in the Orange Beach area last month and we could not find one within a 45 minute drive. I don't know how far that is from Gulf Shores.

We had a thread on this a few weeks ago. Things probably haven't changed.

And a year earlier (Things may have changed):

The short answer in June was 'no'. It's either the PCA in Foley, or drive to the Mobile area.

Unless I am mistaken, the PCA church in Foley didn't have a pastor. I could be wrong but that was the impression I got from the church website.

I kept looking to see if my scriptblocker was blocking their website content. From the web pages, it appears that it is largely a mothers day out program that may have Sunday morning worship on the side. I'll stick with my 'no' answer, based upon the priorities shown on the website.

The Presbytery website shows contact info for a pastor and a clerk of session, but it may be out of date. http://www.gulfcoastpres.org/directory/

I've forwarded the info; thanks. Given the number of family headed there they could hold there own service and be bigger than that option in Foley sounds like. And they will have a pastor among them so maybe that is the best option.
