Relationship between Pascha and Pascho

Is there any sort of a direct link between the Greek noun pascha ("Passover") and the verb pascho ("to suffer"). I can't seem to find any, but the relationship seems too close for it to be a mere coincidence. The first is a transliteration of the Hebrew word for Passover; the second seems to have been in existence in Greek prior to the NT (i.e., also used in secular/pagan Greek literature); it is used for suffering in the LXX as well.
