Absolutely not. Vlach, while Calvinist and a MacArthurite, and sometimes sound on church history, is a rabid dispensationalist.

I'd say it depends on what your interest in the topic is. If you are interested in understanding the dispensational view then Vlach is one of the best modern authors to read for that system. If looking to digest a work that will help you better understand and defend a covenantal understanding then you better look to someone like O. Palmer Robertson in his book The Israel of God.
