Now that Deuteronomy, the must-read last volume of Rushdoony's Commentary on the Pentateuch, has been released, you can purchase the entire five hardback volume set at a significant savings of $75 off the individual book price!

Genesis: (297 pages, $45.00)
Theology without creationism (literal six day) becomes alien to the God of Scripture because it turns from the God who acts and whose word is the creative word and the word of power, to a belief in process as god. The god of the non-creationists is the creation of man and a figment of their imagination. They must play games with the Bible to vindicate their positions. Furthermore, evolutionists are the naive believers and irrationalists compounded. They violate the scientific cannons they profess by their fanatical and intolerant belief in evolution.

Exodus: (554 pages, $45.00)
Essentially, all of mankind is on some sort of exodus. However, the path of fallen man is vastly different from that of the righteous. Apart from Jesus Christ and His atoning work, the exodus of a fallen humanity means only a further descent from sin into death. But in Christ, the exodus is now a glorious ascent into the justice and dominion of the everlasting Kingdom of God. Therefore, if we are to better understand the gracious provisions made for us in the "promised land" of the New Covenant, a thorough examination into the historic path of Israel as described in the book of Exodus is essential.

Leviticus: (412 pages, $45.00)
The book of Leviticus contains over ninety references to the word holy. The purpose, therefore, of this third book of the Pentateuch is to demonstrate the legal foundation of holiness in the totality of our lives. In the book of Zechariah, the prophet proclaims a day when "there shall be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS TO THE LORD" (Zech. 14:20). This same inscription is borne upon the garments of the high priest, and pictures for us a day in which every area of life shall be made holy to the Lord. This present study is dedicated to equipping His church for that redemptive mission.

Numbers: (428 pages, $45.00)
The book of Numbers is a census of dependent and able men. This is because the census was an extension of the law code given throughout the Pentateuch. It was the means to furthering God's justice in Israel by assessing the faithful men able to preserve the godly social order and defend its livelihood. Like Israel, we will also fail today if there is not a true restoration of godly men faithful to Biblical terms. When understood in this context, Numbers becomes important reading for every Christian.

Deuteronomy: (512 pages, $45.00)
As the last installment of R.J. Rushdoony's commentary series on the Pentateuch, Deuteronomy stands as one of the more dynamic expositions in the series in that it addresses God's demands upon man, family, church, and state. In short, Deuteronomy is the defining volume on theocracy, and could easily stand alongside Rushdoony's Institutes of Biblical Law in its equally comprehensive application of Biblical law.

I've read part of the Exodus one and remember appreciating it. Unfortunately I cannot give a more detailed review.
