Regarding the "times and seasons"...

The "times and the seasons" it is impossible to foretell; but whatever may be the procession of events, the triumph of the kingdom is the certain hope of Christ-lit humanity.
 
Concerning comfort in the Christian life....

It is not in the fleeing from God's mighty hand, but in humbling ourselves under it, that safety lies. It is not in outrunning crosses, but in taking them up, and following Christ, that true comfort is to be had.
