If Christ came to destroy the dividing wall between Jew and Gentile and their access to God, why was there an Israel first policy especially in the Gospels? Dispensationalists love using such verses to checker their hemeneutics.

I don't think it was a matter of policy, but practicality. In temporal terms, the gospel came to Israel first because Israel possessed the Law and the Messiah. The evangelists went to the synagogues first because their congregations already had some context for the gospel, making it easier to build up disciples which could then spread the good news to those outside the synagogue.
