Ted J. Postma's Psalmody Through the Ages (2005) is a good historical review of Psalmody from the Old Testament forward. The author is a church organist (Grace Free Reformed Church, Brantford, Ontario) and principal of a Christian school.
Whatever happened to Michael Bushnell, the author of a pro-EP book (now in a second edition, of a few years back). I don't know anything about him except for that book (which I found interesting, but not convincing).

Anyone know anything about him?

Mike Bushell is a friend of mine. He is the owner and lead programmer for Bibleworks. He is a member of Immanuel PCA, Norfolk, VA. Michael Tan, a colleague of his at Bibleworks, is a ruling elder there as well.
