With regard to both this thread and the related one, I hate to be persnickety, but, well, I am - and one person cannot 'stumble' another person; rather, one may cause another to stumble. I feel better now. Goodnight. ;)
 
I personally don’t like grape juice because it’s too sweet, and frankly too purple.

That's because you are using Concord juice. I just checked, I've got 24 quarts of Swenson Red and another 18 quarts of Flame canned up, and they are all red!

And earthy-tasting, not syrupy--full of bioflavonoids.

BTW, our church uses wine exclusively. Cabernet usually. A few teetotalers tell me they take a tiny sip. Nobody fusses that I have heard.
 
My own preference is for alcoholic wine but the practice of our church is grape juice. Most baptist churches in Northern Ireland would use grape juice
