I am currently reading through a book that puts together 17 articles by Arthur Pink in which he does a study of Matthew 7:13-27. I have always found Pink's writings very edifying, and after finishing 100 pages, I am reminded of why.

So far, he has quoted from all of the following, mostly Puritan, or Puritan-influenced authors:

    Stephen Charnock
    CH Spurgeon
    Matthew Henry
    Thomas Scott
    Andrew Fuller
    Thomas Goodwin
    Thomas Manton
    Anthony Burgess
    John Owen
    John Flavel
    Thomas Boston
    Samuel Hopkins
    John Brown
    William Perkins

I love reading the Puritans, and anyone who is heavily influenced by, and often quotes them. As the M. Lloyd-Jones books I am currently reading.

So many Puritans–so little time. I love them too.
