I don't know whether this is old news or not, but:
A friend of mine, who's an OPC pastor, just got back from a meeting of other OPC pastors and REs. Among the discussions that occurred, mention was made of the fact that Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia is taking a lot of heat over Peter Enns's book Inspiration and Incarnation. Apparently, Enns has been approached by some folks in and out of the OPC who try to talk to him about problems with his presentation in the book. Enns responded in ways that led one man to say, "After listening to him for several paragraphs worth of talk, it was obvious that we weren't going to get a straight answer out of him." A trying-to-pin-Jello-to-the-wall episode, sounds like. And, apparently, the Westminster Philly faculty is no help.
So, I guess this is a controvery that's not going to die down anytime soon.
