Pete Enns on the virgin birth

What is it with Dr. Enns? Doesn't his book on Adam untether the Adam-Christ connection by denying the historicity of Adam?

Sad, but not surprising. A while back he said that his critics regarding an historical Adam worship a different God. I pray that he repents (what an example and testimony that would be), and I pray that others who remain in Reformed seminaries harboring such views and sowing seeds of doubt among future ministers would soon join him in being ousted.

Hmmmm. You overturn two millennia of Christian teaching and accuse those who disagree with you of being the deviant ones!

We've seen this story play itself out many times. No virgin birth, no spotless savior for Adam's doomed race. Oh wait, Adam's a myth anyway. Next to topple: that sin "thing", and since sin is a non-issue, we'll talk about how Jesus never intended to be a savior.... so just be a nice person.

That's pretty much how this path ends (more or less)
