Can anyone explain to me why different Hebrew names which include the Lord's name are so varied depending on beginning or end of the name? Shouldn't Eliyahu be Eliyeho if His name is Yehowah/Jehovah? If it is Yahweh, shouldn't it be Yahshaphat or Yahushaphat? Why change one and not the other (assuming the vowel points are later additions)? Resources would be great if you know of them.
