Netflix - Virgin River - What Is Missing?

My wife started watching this show which seems a quite nice and gentle rom com.

Then it hit me in the portrayal of this little community there is no faith community - no chapel, church or synagogue! It is a secular utopia!

That’s the horrible thing about so much, practically all, of tv and movies and books and other media; everything is just fine without God, and anyway He is irrelevant. Such a tragic message.
