I read a Calvin quote a few months back from a commentary on Psalms (not sure which one). The quote said something along the lines that God was not teaching us astronomy, but rather pointing to the glory of God.

Can someone please help me out? I need the quote for a research paper I am writing.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Found it. Google really does have all the answers. His commentary on Psalm 136:7 states
The Holy Spirit had no intention to teach astronomy; and, in proposing instruction meant to be common to the simplest and most uneducated persons, he made use by Moses and the other Prophets of popular language …the Holy Spirit would rather speak childishly than unintelligibly to the humble and unlearned
