Need good Blue ray burner

I need a decent blue ray (dvd also a plus but I'm looking for storage capacity) burner to back up all my files from an old laptop and backup drive, that burns double layer blue ray disks too. The offerings on Amazon are confusing and the reviews are written in broken English. I had ordered a recommended one by Amazon and they cancelled it and the I saw the price was raised.

How about just an external HD? See if this might be a cheaper option. They have 8-10TB for somewhere around $130-160 all the time on slickdeals.net and you don't have to keep buying blank blu-rays which take up a lot of room in the house over time and also don't store big files

Thanks; I have some of those, but this is for offload of long term archival.

Looks like LG has a blue ray at best buy also. I'll take a look at that.
