1. A more plentiful effusion of the Spirit.
2. Liberty from the bondage of earthly, carnal ceremonies; and simplicity of worship, duty and ceremony.
3. Clear knowledge of redemption accomplished, instead of a less clear hope based upon types and figures.
4. The Gospel promises have a priority of frequency and prominence over the Old testament.
5. Accidental perfection.
6. In its duration, this will stretch to the end of the world.
7. The sacraments of the New, though fewer and less elaborate, set forth with more fullness the grace of God.

These are a few benefits of the New over the Old.
