Looking for a Reformed Commentary suggestion

I would appreciate any suggestions on a 1 or 2 volume (preferably) whole bible commentary from a Reformed author.

Thank you in advance.

I like the NBC David mentioned above. That said, in the end, seeking a single volume commentary on 31,102 verses (KJV) of Scripture means it will be full of terse comments due to size restrictions. In the end, what you get in a single volume would be what you would actually find in a nice study bible, such as the ESVSB or RSB (Ligonier), both of which include much more extra-biblical materials (concordance, cross references, extended articles, etc).

As noted above Poole or Henry would seem to be the only alternatives for something more than 1 and less than 3 volumes.
