The Lutheran theologian Martin Chemnitz wrote a thorough response to Rome on the Council of Trent. I know Concordia Seminary publishes his works. I actually don't mind paying $40 for a nicely-bound copy of Chemnitz. I just balk at paying $15 for shipping for one book, which is roughly what they charge. I wonder if anyone else knows of book-selling websites that locate these things. I use bookfinder.com, which umbrellas amazon, alibris, and abebooks under one search engine.

If I can find the isbn (not a problem in this case) I usually look at isbn.nu. And $45.00 + $4.99 shipping is slightly better than $40 plus $15 shipping.
