It's election time in the Republic of Korea.

I've attached a picture of a brochure we received in the mail. It's for a so-called Christian party. The front of the brochure says that they would act against homosexuality, Islam and 'evil anti-Christian laws'. They do not elaborate on what exactly they intend to enforce.

Any opinions?

We would have to know more of their platform to have an opinion on them, and on political culture in South Korea to know whether they would be effective. Christian parties may not always be the most effective way to go.

The thing is that their platform seems very thin other than these points. They are a fringe party, founded by full gospel types. They've won at least one seat in the past.

Also, one of their guys boasts the most unbelievable eyebrows I've ever seen.
